What would 300MB mean for this running time?
A short episode and a long movie cannot devote the same amount of data to each second when both occupy 300MB. Enter a size and running time below. The result is an average for the complete file, including sound, subtitles and container overhead, rather than a measurement of the video alone.
Size is not a resolution test
At 300MB for 120 minutes, the total average is about 0.333 Mbps. That arithmetic does not tell you whether the image is 480p or 720p, which codec was used, how clean the source was or whether grain and movement survived compression. Two files of equal size can look quite different.
Why the unit matters
A decimal MB is one million bytes. A binary MiB is 1,048,576 bytes. Choose the unit actually reported by your file manager when possible. An unexplained “MB” label in an older listing can be imprecise, so treat the result as an estimate rather than a forensic measurement.
